Steenbokkie Private Nature Reserve is a 7 500ha family run working, game and hospitality farm where we offer comfortable, affordable accommodation for the overnight traveller as well as an unforgettable farm experience to the family of the holidaymaker.

Breathtaking stargazing at night, surrounded by the wide open spaces of the Karoo, with the Nuweveld Mountains in the distance Steenbokkie offers a unique country retreat.

Not only do we have a shop at our friendly Reception to cater for basic needs like ice, cool drinks and Karoo Chops but also some beautiful gifts, treats and succulents from our nursery. Consider yourself lucky if there are rusks or sourdough bread available.
