Campsite

The beautiful campsite at Steenbokkie Private Nature Reserve is an oasis with lush, green lawns under the umbrella of old, shaded trees to provide a relaxing atmosphere to our valued guests. Stands are not formally marked off, so campers are welcome to set up where most pleases them. Sufficient electricity and light stands, as well as braai drums for 20 caravans or tents are available.

Our recently upgraded gentlemen’s bathrooms are private with warm water. The Ladies are due for an upgrade soon, but it is still in pristine clean condition, private and has warm water.

We offer you the use of Die Kamp Kombuis. This is a communal kitchen for our campers with some kitchen facilities if in need.

En-suite Rooms 1-4

The facilities in our Rooms include air-conditioning, electric blanket in winter, television with Dstv channels, coffee and tea facilities. Guests can make use of the communal kitchen and braai area. The communal kitchen is equipped with an oven and fridge/freezer.

Cottages and Die Jaghuis

We offer you 3 Cottages each with a kitchenette equipped with a stove, a microwave oven and a fridge/freezer. Rooms are en suite, (with the exception of Cottage 3) have air-conditioning, electric blankets in winter, television with Dstv channels, coffee and tea facilities and private braai area.

Die Jaghuis is a separate house approximately 1km from Reception and is favoured by hunters during hunting season from April to August and touring groups during school holidays. It can either host 2 groups of 4 and 8 guests or a group of 12 to 18 guests. No air conditioning in rooms. Only in living area. Special rates apply to accommodation for groups larger than 10 guests.

Die Lapa

We are very excited about the newest addition to the Reserve. Although big enough to host events of up to 80 people, Die Lapa is small enough for intimate gatherings of friends and families around a fire under a million stars. Functions can be arranged.
